PHP Developer (m/f/d)

Your Position
You work, develop and scale highly complex software modules as part of our development teams with experienced colleagues. We work 100% agile and as a team we are in active exchange with our customer consultants and support staff. In weekly developer meetings we discuss together about the technological development of the software structure and our internal processes.
Your tasks
  • When developing new modules (front-end, back-end) you pay attention to our architecture rules and develop them further together with your colleagues
  • In close cooperation with the development management and the product teams, you will develop and plan new features (application planning) and proactively clarify any ambiguities regarding functions and implementation
  • You write maintainable and clean code, know the value of good documentation, and make sure your implementation is clean using Git
  • You evaluate new technologies and methods and discuss them with your colleagues and introduce new tools to the department after successful testing
Your Challenge
After 6 months you have achieved the following:  

  • The first smaller modules have already been rolled out and you receive positive feedback from our customers and your colleagues in the product team
  • Your team colleagues appreciate your ideas and contributions to the technological development of our software structure in the developer meeting
  • Colleagues from the customer service and product teams are happy to contact you with technical questions.
  • If you value customer contact, you use our ticket system to clarify technical questions to ensure at least 80% customer satisfaction
Your profile
  • You have good to very good knowledge in web programming (PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, jQuery, CSS3)
  • You love algorithms, software design patterns, unit testing and modular development as well as numbers, statistics and more complex calculations
  • Software design concepts like SOLID and code rules like KISS are no strangers to you
  • You have a global view of architecture and business logic
  • You have an independent and solution-oriented way of working
  • You are an open and team-oriented personality
  • Your fluent German and basic English skills in your subject area round off your profile
